Recently we completed a holiday decoration display at Kennedy’s Flowers & Gifts in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The business owners really enjoy Christmas time, so they wanted to get a head start on their outdoor Christmas lighting.

What Was The Goal?

Since this is a favorite time of year for these clients, we wanted to create a warm inviting entrance for the visitors as well as the employees. A holiday decoration display that included greenery, color, and lighting.

Any Challenges?

Besides the weather that day, there were no major challenges. The biggest challenge we had was that the building has two entrances, on different sides of the building coming from different streets. Since we had a great opportunity with these two entrances, we wanted to show different ways to decorate. One being on the more traditional side with garland, wreaths and roof lighting. On the other side we wanted to show that it is possible to have a great holiday decoration display while only incorporating a few holiday decoration display items; roof lighting and a ribbon column wrap.

The whole project at Kennedy’s Flowers & Gifts took about half a day. A few days after we installed the holiday lighting, Kennedy’s Flowers & Gifts was visited by EightWest from WoodTV 8 in Grand Rapids.
